Got a pic of this while I was driving. My cam was on hand to try take pics of this car. And this one's the best. Hehe. Can you tell what car it is? Much respect to the owner who have modified and made it one of its kind in Brunei. I wonder how he did such modification.

Salam.

Had dinner somewhere in Gadong with family. It's our first time there. And would u believe that we waited about an hour ( plus or more) just to get the food on the table? pretty annoying man. What's even more annoying was seeing the other customers in the other room who came later than us got their food earlier than us! Sampai habis dorg makan bah mkanan kami alum ada. Baik jua d order ane nyman. Mun nda melatop sudah masa mbyar d cashier atu tu. Haha.

understandably it's bonus time, yes. But come on lah... an hour plus? eeeeeiH!!! sasak ku maseh haha.

*burp* kanyang sudah. Alhamdulillah. I simply hate it when clearing the table, giving us the menu and taking our orders and putting our food on the table took more than an hour. Ordered mostly warm water pun 10-15min. Paloi kali eh haha. nah lagi...

Anyways, I really had a very long and good sleep today. I finally felt totally exhausted and the sleep I had were just satisfying haha.

Family's gone out of country yesterday and I don't really know when they are coming back home. I really wish I could have joined them but sigh not entitled yet for holidays.

Azab sengsara ku rasai

I'm tired and exhausted.

Waking up early, had to go like 30km a day on one way and went home at abt dawn, back home ampar lalah hantap. Fried up under the sun. Sweating like crazy. Had to stand still, no talking and no itching - but no problems with food and drinks though. Hehe. Had been doing this for the past 2 weeks, attending a course, not a crash course plg haha - which explains why I've not moved alot in my posts.

Now trying to catch up on my normal life and trying to make full use of this short holidays. Haha.

updates: I've been away from my camera that shooting is almost none in the past few days but it's good to finally have touched it when taking a pic of the full moon.

The way the pmb results is distributed has caused alot of mixed reaction among parents and students alike. Let's see how relevant authorities will cope with this issue.

I've been away and lacking updates as I am very packed in my activity of 'bathing in the sun' till my face got tanned. Will continue doing so till the 19th. But my tanned will stay for much longer than that, *sigh*

Got wedding to attend to later on.

Oh Sang Burung dan Bunga mewarni

The bird's taken at the back of my house. A tough one that one coz it's quite far and the bird's keep on rubbing its body with its beak coz kegatalan hehe. The shot was finally spot on as it stood still and upright. It looks like as if it's lookin at the camera isnt it hehe.

This one's taken in Damuan. Sally and I were really surprised by this colourful flower. She got her version in K3 if u browse slowly. I don't know the name of these flowers hehe. Oh, and if you look closely you can see some ants roaming around the flower. Haha!

Penanjong Beach

We accidentally drop by this beach yesterday while looking for a place. We ended up spending our late afternoon there snapping pics and enjoying the sunset.
The place is really nice.
Seluas mata memandang and cars can park along the beach.
There were some wave breakers and we stood on one up to a point where Sally got splashed by the wave. Haha. Pretty scary but fun. More pics will be posted in kakitiga later.

Eye wide open

I seem to be wide awake still despite time's showing almost 0430. And that's 4:30am in the morning!

I had a really long sleep and a glass of 3-in-1 Nescafe earlier which probably explained my wide-eyed. And I was adding some pics here and in here. Though not many hehe.

Snails and friends

Trying this effect called 'glossy effect'. It's that white thing covering the picture that you can see. Does it annoy u? haha.
Got this pic at Taman Jubli late afternoon after the rain.
Surprisingly there were lots of these snails and only this picture that seemed *ehem* X-rated. Haha!

There were also other flying creatures that we took. One is captured here.
We were caught by the big number of this bird that our present were noticeable and flew them away. They really look like scientists wearing 'white-coats' ;)

Remember my post last week about 'Aku hampa padamu, Dell'?

I came up to a conclusion it's not Dell whose causing the problem. Source of problem is unknown. I've googled about the problem: it could be the motherboard, the graphicscard, the ram, the Operating System (Vista 32bit) and lastly could be the freaking Dell itself. Screw you(Dell!) Haha. Sasak ku eh. How am I supposed to do my work like this! :( Lucky Sally's helpful. I thank you love.

So, for the coming days to come I will again battling myself in completing the endless tasks I'm thrown to do. Awu nada org lain. Aku jua kna suruh. Haha. Bah, AMN you can quote me on this. Haha.

How I love natural colours. These images are taken during dawn. And it's interesting how colours during these times can be so soothing. There's no photoshop effects done in these images as I want you to enjoy the naturalness of lights God's painted. Subhanallah~

My laptop's been sent for service again because I realised the fan didnt stop spinning and it's making a noise which is quite audible - hissing sound, like a wind blowing non-stop.

I hate it when it's time when I need the laptop urgently to do some work and things like this pop-up all of a sudden. I wish ada pop-up blocker that I can use, but that's silly. Haha.

As result, I cant update this blog as often. I've many pics to share - many things to learn and discover everyday. Its just getting better. Yea. Haha.

Bila ku buka pintu, ku nampak itu di depan mataku *haha*

It's not entirely black-framed just to show you that it's not totally that dark.
And it's not totally darkness that you can actually see those bright lit things on top of the door and a carpet (actually) right at the bottom. The SOAS mosque; it's never boring to have a view of this at the outside of your door. And that's the main subject of this picture. Not the darkness that I'm talking about from the beginning. Haha!

Kami cucu2 Mulah Nini Hj Ibrahim selalu bermain2 dgn gong2 atu d kampong. Malar tah kami mengatok tu gong atu sampai kedengaran seluruh rumah. Kdg2 kna marahi p sudah basar2 ane jrg g kn d katok sama kna marahi, haha. There's no more to hit now except for the smaller gongs hehe. Oh, hitting the gong has a very pleasant echo effect actually. It sounds really smooth. Not that I have hit other gongs made by other people ever, but u know its of high quality considering it's been around for ages and genereations. And with the same audio effect of a gong.

Sayangnya, ndada cucu2nya ane yg mewarisi tradisi membuat tembaga ane lagi...It shows how young people now have no or little interest in it..

I hope by giving it to the museum, many will appreciate its art and beauty and to recognise that there once was a great artist of coppermaking in Brunei.

A lazy Sunday morning with the bears

It's just been raining lately. It's even raining now that it doesn't seem to stop. I like this weather. Very cool and nice and cool to sleep to even do anything.

MOE's supposed to be having their 'Teachers' Day Walkhaton' this morning but I don't think it's on. Hmm, I wonder what alternative they have for their plan B. 'Walkathon using umbrella' perhaps. Sally wanted to attend this event but since its raining she decided not to.

I have other plan. Another sporting event that I have to win in Tutong. It doesn't matter if it rains or not this one. Bukit Beruang here I come....

I have something to say after attending the Friday prayers.
I've experienced this last week actually and also today - it really annoys me.
Kids, talking during the sermon. and the same kids were talking again at my back!
and even worst there were also 2 teenagers probably only form 3 or 4, who were also talking!
I gave them that 'look' tapi inda fhm2 dorg ane!
Mun kanak2 nda jua,dpt jua tolerate sikit but those F3,F4 are just too much man! Apatah lagi yg lebih tua dari atu. Nda fhm kah dorg? nda kna ajar kah dorg atu yg Solat Jumaat indakan sempurna kalau nda mendgr Khutbah? Arghh.... mana nda dalam class pun nda mndgr dorg ane! mun sudah khutbah pun berckp! Go back to school and learn some lesson boys!

Sekelumit diari di Hari Raya

Salam aidilfitri.

The day started with the aidilfitri prayers. Selalu nyaman tdo ne d pagi raya ane and payahkan bangun. and all mosques will be filled with god's servants. It's interesting,compared to the friday prayers. Aidilfitri and aidiladha are times when mosques are fully packed, bnr. paking payah, apatah g mencari2 saf kosong (esp if late hehe). but theres always space to be filled...

all dressed decently good, some even wear their Baju raya when attending these prayers. and dats how it should be.

takbir raya are so soothing to be listened to, kdg2 sampai menitiskan airmata kalau di ucpkan, walaupun nda fhm bnr maksud ertinya. so here is the translation:

"Tiada tuhan melainkan Allah, kami tidak menyembah kecuali kepadaNya, dengan ikhlas

untuk agama (Islam) walaupun dibenci oleh golongan yang menyekutukan Allah."
"Tiada tuhan melainkan Allah yang Esa. Yang benar janjiNya yang memuliakan tentera-tenteraNya, yang menolong hambaNya dengan mengalahkan tentera Ahzab dengan keesaanNya."
"Tiada tuhan melainkan Allah yang Maha Besar, Allah Maha Besar dan untukNya segala puji-pujian."

Every year, we'll be visiting the graves of our ancestors. We'll go to several places and recite the same thing (Yasin & Tahlil). And menuang aing asah-asahan. And I said to my dad, 'nda dapat tuang sajakah aing asah-asahan atu? (without the tahlil and yasin in several places). And he said, 'ia bukannya minta aing, tapi doa kitane...'

while many have gone to try out many of the sungkai buffets available throughtout the country, may it be because of the price, word of mouth, variety,quality of food and many others,there will always be time when we have to que up just to grab the food and put it in our plate. How long do you think it will take to put ayam, daging, sayur, nasi, ikan on our plate ? less than 5 minutes, or even leser than that i suppose!

it happened when we were queing up for this buffet we had and people in front ofus were like really slacking, betebiat mengaut makanan ah! Oi, kaut saja bah, nda payah 2-3 kali fikir! and u dont even have to ask ur partner's opinion whether to take the food or not, just take it! Inclusive jua sudah tu bayarannya!

Haha. mental. mana tah kn we were still queing up when the baduk and azan was already called upon.

Ive just performed my Zakat fitrah for this year.

It cost $2.84 for beras wangi. and cheaper if you consume beras siam.

It's my second year performing my own zakat. last year being the first, with the present of my dad. Its really different. performing it ourself. When we used to be under our guardian, but not now that we are working and able to support ourself. So friends out there, do not forget to perform your obligation. just go to anny mosque or surau available throughtout the country and there'll be some imams sitting around, just approach them :).

Badminton di bulan puasa

playing badminton during the month of ramadhan had happened to me again. Haha. you must be thinking, 'no he's not! puasa kali ah!' oh yes, i did. in fact, along with other 2 friends who are also fasting.

It was ok today, I wasnt feeling exhausted and drained. It's only when breaking the fast that I drank a bit too much. That indicates a water loss, isnt it hehe.

felt rather bad to know that a friend was feeling exhausted after today's game. Yalah, puasa kan. It's important not to over play and trying too hard, coz we have to know and limit our energy not to drain it away in a game. just take it easy next time, mate.

sungkai out number hmm...5?

I come to a conclusion that buying gerai ramadhan food isnt worth it. Well not all plg ah. Its just not on par with what i had expected in terms of taste and quality of food. Blame me for not being able to know the best stall that sells a food, it makes me wonder if i ever will be visiting a stall again after this. It's more value for money if we had a sungkai buffet in a restaurant. At least the food is proper and much cleaner than the ones from the gerai.

Had a sungkai out with the siblings just now, I chose a cheap place to break the fast and the food was just alright. bad thing tho, the restaurant didnt even refill the food that had exhausted. Luckily we had tasted everything. There werent so many variety tho. Which explains why its cheap. restaurant environment was ok, its new, but one thing that annoyed me, there were some flies flying around! As in, people had to wave their hands abve the food so that the flies flew away! The restaurant needs to consider installing those fly killing machine ( I dunno what it's called, haha) in their restaurant.

Earlier before off to the restaurant, I was washing my car. I suggest if u want to wash your car please do it around 5. coz the weather will be just fine and it helps to pass the time while waiting for breakfast hehe. Or try 7am in the morning. I couldnt wake up that early yesterday, haha.

Anyways, would also like to convey my love and heart to dear Sally on our monthly anniversary which falls today. Love you to bits :) See you later!

i may have missed the 888 buzz in posting this, but its better late than never? haha sometimes.

hmm things i looked forward on 888 were

1. Butterfingers' new album - Kembali - ive been looking for it in shops before yesterday but to no avail. Will probably be on the look these couple of days. Oh, i have listened to the entire album btw. Its availble for dload through illegal channels. Will be buying the album anyways if its available. What i can say abt the album; it's butterfingers. heheh...

2. The Olympics. - the opening was spectacular tho i didnt watch the entire opening. Such a long one dat one

3. Jogging at tasek.hehe. But Sally couldn't join as she was bed-ridden sick :( Lets hope she'll recover very soon.

Monday Blues

Sounds like a title of a song doesnt it. doesnt it not.

Somehow, i really hate mondays. Not coz its the start of the week, and teachers knw what we have to go through on this day, last minute stuffs etc, and although I have the entire morning to not so relax myself, i ended up having all my energy drained out with controlling the endless madness of students' behaviour. After break, its like hell break lose. Get loose, get loose, everybody get loose.

that's just the cure for me. In the afternoon, if not with Sally, badminton and jogging made me feel loosen up and happy again. All sweat out, all the negative energy little by little slowly exhaled of this body. dats what I did today. haha. Loving it.

yesterday, me and some friends were scouting for courts. perhaps if somebody can offer a court for$20 an hour, which is double than the usual $10, we wold have jumped for it too. desperate sudah. luckilywe found one, for free somewhere around bandar.

Later we spent some time trying out the, errmm, therapuetic stones for the feet at tasek.soothing yo. seriously its a must try. beginners have to go really2 slow to endure the pain haha. i leave u with some komik hehe:

If you kids are reading this, (kids? I meant those teens) please do consider other people who are waching it as well. We pay the same ticket price. Being silent is one of the the ethiquette of watching a movie full of pple. go back to school and come back will ya ?
